972-747-3300 phone 972-727-0307 fax The Department of District Improvement and Accountability monitors school district performance on state and national accountability standards such as No Child Left Behind, the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS), and the Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS). The department also serves as a liaison between the Board of Trustees and the community through community partnerships and ongoing committees such as the District Improvement Committee (DIPC).
