My name is Jill Kerby and I am excited to be teaching at Norton Elementary this year. I am originally from Oklahoma City, OK and love the Oklahoma Sooners, just ask your child! I received my B.A. from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA and my M.A. in Industrial Organizational Psychology from the University of Tulsa. Upon graduation, I accepted a consulting position in Washington, D.C. and continued in the consulting profession for over 3 years.
I met my husband, Tim, during my time in Washington and we were married in June 2005. In the fall of 2006, we decided to move to Texas for his job and to be closer to my family. During this transition, I decided that I wanted to work in a field where I could make a difference in the lives of children, so I became an elementary teacher. This will be my second year at Norton. What a great place to work! I enjoy reading, shopping, watching movies, spending time at the beach, and watching college football!
