Dear French learners, Welcome to your first year of French! This is a new door that is opening for you, one through which you will step into a whole new world of possibilities. Consider the opportunity to travel to new places, be they near or far from home, to converse in a language that is relatively new to you. This concept is both exciting and scary at the same time.
Understand that, although the language of French may be new to you, you will learn to use it effectively to communicate with other French-speaking persons. You will understand other French speakers, and you will be understood. You will become a speaker of French. So let's take this leap together into this new world you have chosen to visit.
