My name is Willetta Edinburgh. I have lived in Allen for 7 years. I'm originally from New Orleans, Louisiana....born and raised! Hurricane Katrina brought my family and I to Allen back in August 2005. I have an
incredible son, Joseph, who is a junior at Allen High School this year.
He enjoys playing basketball and video games. I enjoy reading, especially romance and mystery novels, listening to jazz music and I also enjoy a
little shopping now and then. I received both my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and my Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from Southern University At New Orleans. My mother was an elementary school teacher for over 40 years and it was her love for teaching; as well as, a class in Juvenile Justice Administration during my Masters program that guided me to the field of education. The 2012-2013 school year is my 6th year in education with AISD. While at Marion, I've worked in the Student Support Lab, Special Education Resource and Life Skills Classrooms. It is an honor to leave Marion each day, knowing I have made a positive impact in a student's learning and life. I look forward to working with Marion students and staff everyday! |
