Foundation Grants: Enriching the Education of Students in AISD

The Educational Grant program provides funding for innovative classroom and campus programs and projects in Allen ISD. To date, the Foundation has funded over $582,000 in grants to:

Elementary and secondary classroom teachers
Counselors
Librarians
Art teachers
Physical education teachers
Special education classroooms
Allen ISD Learner Services Department for teacher training

Olson Autobiographies
Grant: It's All About Me!
Students at Olson Elementary share the autobiographies they wrote.
 
Grant applications are provided to Allen ISD staff every January and are submitted in March. Each application is reviewed by a committee of Foundation board members and read by the Allen ISD curriculum coordinators and the superintendent. Funding begins with the new school year.
