Welcome to Kindergarten!
I’m pleased to be your child’s kindergarten teacher. I know this will be a great year. I look forward to working with each of you and your child. I want this year to be a cooperative effort between you and myself as we work towards the best for your child.
Let me take this time to briefly introduce myself to you. I love teaching. I can't imagine doing anything else with my life. This will be my 15th year in education. I've taught first and second grade, but I love teaching kindergarteners. I've been teaching kindergarten since 2002.
I'm proud to call Allen home. My family and I have lived in Allen for the past 5 years. My husband, Byron, is the pastor at Allen Heights Baptist Church. We have 3 children. Cole is going to be a 5th grader here at Chandler. He loves playing and watching baseball. Chloe, our 6 1/2 year old, is a first grader. She is enjoying her 3 soccer season. Conley is our 2 1/2 year old who keeps us on our toes. We are a blessed family.
