I am very excited to be at Mary Evans Elementary School. I am from Durant, Oklahoma and received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Before that, I was an Animal Science major at Oklahoma State University. Go Pokes! My wonderful wife, Becky, and I live in Allen. We have a two year old son named Ragan. He is my pride and joy. We have one dog, Reba. We enjoy spending time together and with friends and family. Some of our favorite activities include riding my Harley Davidson motorcycle, camping, and just hanging out in our pool. We have family in California, Maine, Oklahoma, and Minnesota, as well as several other states, so we travel as much as we can to spend time with them. While growing up, my family raised Appaloosa horses on a small horse farm. I learned to ride at a very early age and began training horses when I was twelve. I trained and showed horses all the way through college. I also competed in rodeos during high school as a calf roper. I've owned a few cows and calves and showed pigs in high school. Most of my youth revolved around animals, 4-H, and FFA. It was wonderful to grow up in the country and spend so much time caring for, working with, and showing animals. |
