Hello! My name is Cindy Trantham, and I am the Student Success Initiative teacher at Green Elementary. Please join me in welcoming Lisa Meyer
as our new SSI Instructional Assistant!
At Green, our SSI program is a program which provides focused, small group intervention and support for students in reading and/or math. Our room is a
fun, learner-centered place where students are supported and loved.
Some students work with us all year, and some attend for a shorter time. It is our goal to work closely with the student and the classroom teacher to ensure academic success for each child.
This is my twenty-sixth year in education, and it is my eighth year to teach at Green. I am the proud mom of three children: Ryan, a sophomore at Texas A&M University; Shelby, a senior at AHS; and Ellery, a sophomore at AHS. Ryan, Shelby, and Ellery are all "graduates" of Green Elementary! My husband, Mike, and I have lived in Allen for thirteen years. Before my role as the SSI teacher, I taught fourth grade at Green. I am looking forward to helping students with new learning adventures in reading and math.
