Welcome to Fourth Grade! I’m Mrs. Milam, and I’m happy to have you in my classe for the 2012-2013 school year! I am excited to be returning to Marion as a fourth grade teacher this year! This will be my fifth year at Marion. Before coming to Allen ISD , I taught for 5 years in Richardson ISD and even had the privilege of teaching on a team with Mrs. Varughese, our assistant principal, for a year. I previously taught both fourth grade and second grade. In addition to teaching, I love to spend time with my three nieces Anna, McKenna and Ava. I also have a huge dog named Dominic and 3 cats who keep me really busy! My husband and I enjoy spending time with our families and friends. My favorite hobbies include reading, going to the movies and spending time outdoors. Fourth grade writing is my passion, and I am looking forward to sharing the exciting world of writing with you this year! I'm also excited to be teaching social studies.
