Welcome to First Grade

I am very excited about starting a new year at Reed Elementary teaching first grade. It will be my 13th year of teaching. I have taught first and second grade during my career. I learn something new every year from my students. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else! 

 

I have lived in  the Allen area since 1986. We started our family, and our two sons are both Reed Owl and Allen High School alumni. My oldest son, Evan, graduated from UTD and is working on his Master's in Business. Evan married Rachel last October. I finally have a daughter. Our youngest son, Ethan, is a senior at Southern Nazarene University, in Bethany, Oklahoma. He is looking forward to beginning an internship in accounting this year. My wonderful husband, John, is a computer analyst. All of my guys and girl have heard many, many of my school stories about all of my wonderful students.
