Counseling Services at Green Elementary

Classroom Guidance Individual classrooms rotate through the counselor's office as a group to learn about getting along with others, bullying, anger, good character, and much more... Individual Counseling I am available to counsel with individual students who may need to talk about concerns or difficulties in their lives, either home or school. Parental consent forms are required, and I take referrals from teachers, parents, or the individual student him or herself. Group Counseling Small counseling groups are available on a referral or needs basis. Groups available this year include: Banana Splits (Divorce), Journeys (Grief/Loss), S.E.A.L.S. (Self-Esteem And Life Skills), REACT (Anger management/stress), and Newcomers (orientation for new students to Green). Please let me know if you see a need for a particular group, as I am always excited to help our students grow as indivduals through a group experience! Referrals I am willing to assist parents or teachers in finding a professional in the community to assist with areas not in my expertise. Please feel free to call me if you have questions, or need assistance in locating a local support group, or other professional.
