After Prom Mission

The After Prom tradition began in 1993 as an alternative to drinking and at-risk behavior following the Prom. Each year, parents of Allen High School Seniors undertake the responsibility of planning and sponsoring an all-night drug and alcohol-free After Prom party to provide our teens with a safe, fun-filled, memorable evening. Prom is a very special event for our Seniors. Over 85% of the Senior students have attended After Prom in years past! You do not have to attend the Prom to come to After Prom.

The date for After Prom 2013 is May 4th from 11:30pm-4:00am. Many exciting activities are already being planned for the occasion. The cost to provide food, prizes, scholarships, games, and entertainment is substantial - approximately $53,000. 100% of the funds raised go to the event. The majority of the funds raised come from donations, fundraising and ticket sales. The donations make it possible to keep the ticket cost to a minimum so more students are able to attend. The money raised is spent on activities, inflatables, casino games, food, prizes, and scholarships for the kids.
