Web pictureI started at the Dillard Center in Aug 2004 and I love every moment of it.
The challenges have been rewarding and the results fruitful.
My goal is -- 110% effort to help my students reach their goals.
Some of my hobbies include: reading, crocheting, cooking, woodworking, computer/software, genealogy, and math/science advancement.
I am a Native Texan.
Prior to moving back to Texas, my family and I lived in Naperville, IL for 15 years.  During that time, I spent 5 years as a paraprofessional in an elementary school setting in District 204.  It was from this added experience that I decided to extend my career in education as a teacher in special education.
Before moving to Illinois, I was an Associate Research Professor at Southern Methodist Univeristy in the department of Geological Sciences.  I specialized in geothermal research and related software development.
