All About Ms. Durie

I am looking forward to meeting everyone and getting to spend a fabulous year of learning with you. This is my third year teaching fourth grade here at Cheatham. As for a little about me, I am an avid reader and television watcher. I love reading a good book and typically read several books over holidays and breaks. However, I do keep up with a lot of television shows. Family and friends fill up my free time and we enjoy shopping, cooking, eating, and checking out local events.

I attended Texas A&M University (Whoop!) and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies for Early Childhood and also received ESL certification. I have completed the course work for a Masters of Science in Curriculum and Instruction for Math Education.

I am a native Texan, born in Dallas. I graduated from Allen High School and was ranked in the top 25 students. I also lettered in soccer all four years at Allen. I now visit my family in gorgeous San Diego and love spending time on the beach!

I am a huge sports fan and love watching and playing various sports. My favorite teams to watch are the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, Texas Rangers, Allen Eagles and the Aggies in any sport.
