| Important News and Updates: Class T-shirt deadline is Friday, September 7th!! My Background: I have been fortunate enough to have gone through the Allen ISD school system. I attended Story Elementary and Curtis Middle School and of course Allen High School (GO EAGLES!!). My senior year of high school I participated in the Ready, Set, Teach program the high school offered for prospective teachers where I had the opportunity to spend my year in a Kindergarten classroom at Marion Elementary. After graduation, I spent the next 4 years at Stephen F. Austin working on my Bachelor's degree in Interdisplinary Studies for EC-4. I was very fortunate to return to Allen to get a job teaching Kindergarten at Story Elementary where I taught for 2 years before coming to Cheatham! This will be my 5th year of teaching and I could not be more excited about it! When I'm not teaching, I like to spend time with my wonderful friends and family which includes my husband and our bird Izzy and new puppy Kinsler, friends. I also enjoy working out, reading, and attending concerts, Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and being an Allen Young Life leader for high school students!
