Dear Charger Third Graders, I am SO excited about the upcoming school year at Cheatham Elementary! It is going to be a wonderful and exciting experience! As your child's teacher, I will play a very important part in their day to day learning experience, but I feel parents play an extremely important role as well. I want to encourage you to be involved in your child's learning experience this year. The more encouragement and support a child has at home and in the classroom, the more successful that child will be. In creating a partnership as parents and teacher, this will help your child see the endless resources they have in learning. Please take every opportunity to become involved in our school and your child's learning! This includes reading every night, established routines and homework habits, and also making sure to get to know me as well as other staff members! Cheatham Elementary also has a great PTA, and they are always looking for new members, and this is a great way to get involved and stay involved! I will do my best to ensure that yours and your child's learning experience this year is the best one possible. I am so excited to kick off the year, it's going to be great!
