My name is Robbie Lamkin, and I enjoy teaching second graders! I would like to share some information with you. The 2012-13 academic year will be my 25th year in education. I have spent the last 19 of those teaching the early primary grades. I enjoy my work immensely and find that every day is a new adventure. Working with children on a daily basis is a privilege. I cherish the relationships formed with students and their families. Together, we work to create a positive learning experience for students. I also cherish my family. I have been married for 30 years to my husband, Jack. We have lived in Allen for seventeen years and feel fortunate that our three sons have been a part of this school district. Our twin sons, Jeff and Matt graduated from Texas A&M University in 2010. Both are enjoying their adult lives. My 11th grader, Tyler, attends Allen High School. We have a dog named Lucy. She is a Bichon Frise and the princess of the family. In addition to spending time with family and friends, I also enjoy reading, physical activity, shopping, and traveling. I am grateful to be a part of a wonderful school where we collaborate to foster a love of learning and a sense of community at Mary Evans! |
