My name is Robbie Lamkin, and I enjoy teaching second graders! I would like to share some information with you. The 2013-14 academic year will be my 26th year in education. I have spent the last 21 of those teaching the early primary grades. I enjoy my work immensely and find that every day is a new adventure. Working with children on a daily basis is a privilege. I cherish the relationships formed with students and their families. Together, we work to create a positive learning experience for students.
I also cherish my family. I have been married for 31 years to my husband, Jack. We have lived in Allen for eighteen years and feel fortunate that our three sons have been a part of this school district. Our twin sons, Jeff and Matt are 26 years old. Both are enjoying their adult lives. Jeff is married and lives in Georgia. Matt is working on his M.B.A.in Austin. My youngest son, Tyler, is a senior at Allen High School. We have a dog named Lucy. She is a Bichon Frise and the princess of the family.
In addition to spending time with family and friends, I also enjoy reading, physical activity, shopping, and traveling. I am grateful to be a part of a wonderful school where we collaborate to foster a love of learning and a sense of community at Mary Evans!
