Allen Athletics Hall of Honor
The Allen Athletics Department is seeking nominations for the new Allen Athletic Hall of Honor.
The Hall of Honor will recognize outstanding athletes from all boys and girls sports at Allen High School. A selection committee will name recipients at an annual Athletic Hall of Honor banquet.
Candidates must be an ex-athlete, employee, teams or supporter of Allen I.S.D. They must have graduated from Allen High School at least 10 years ago and must demonstrate good character throughout their athletic career and following high school. If a nominee is deceased, a representative of his/her family may accept the honor.
Recipients will be enshrined in the Athletic Hall of Honor at the new Allen Eagle Stadium starting in August 2012. The first recipients were named in May 2011.
Allen residents, former students and all others are eligible to nominate an athlete for the honor by using the attached nomination form. The selection committee asks that nominations include as much detail as possible to help choose the best candidates.
