Rachel's Challenge
Rachel's Challenge is a program based on Rachel Joy Scott's dream of bringing KINDNESS and COMPASSION to the world. Boon decided to accept Rachel's Challenge this year! We now have a partnership with other schools in Allen ISD! Our theme this year is Be the One - One person can make a huge difference in the lives of others by showing kindness and compassion to others.
Rachel's Challenge t-shirts will be on sale again in October and January. Please watch the newsletter for our next ordering opportunity. I look forward to seeing all the Rachel's Challenge t-shirts walking around our school, as well as our Chains of Kindness growing! TUESDAY's are our Rachel's day. We encourage students to wear their t-shirt each Tuesday.
This year the Boon Pride Council students will be making Rachel's Challenge their emphasis. The students will be making announcements on Tuesday mornings, collecting and totaling the links, and be examples for their fellow students by demonstrating Kindness and Compassion to all students. We will also be introducing KC Clubs (Kindness and Compassion) for everyone to participate in during the year. Watch the newsletter for further information and ways to register.
