Hello Cool Kid Families,

        I am Sherri Kirby and I will be your child’s second grade teacher this school year. We are going to have a great year and I can’t wait to work with you and your child and watch them grow as learners. I have a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Elementary Education and certification in Early Childhood from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

I am married to my wonderful husband Ray and we have two awesome kids Kaitlynn 14 and Payton 12. The real boss of our house is Buddy, a happy little dog that gives good hugs.

I am proud to be a teacher and I hold my position in your child’s life with great respect. Your children are dear to you, and me, and I will treat them with kindness and compassion. They will have high expectations and will be encouraged to do their best everyday at school. I loved school as a child, even though I was not the best student in the world, and hope to inspire my students to love it as well.
