Meet Ms. Olsin

Hi! I'm Carol Olsin, the Library Resource Specialist at Green Elementary School.  This year is my 32nd year of public school teaching, the last 22 years have been with the Allen Independent School District. I began teaching sixth grade at Boyd Elementary in 1989 and then came to Green as the Library Media Specialist in January, 2000.

My first teaching assignment was teaching art in grades 4-8 in the small town of Kirtland, Ohio. Since then I have taught students at all levels ranging from 3rd grade through 8th. I have had several years teaching Pre-K through Kindergarten in private schools.

My Bachelor's Degree was received from Bowling Green University in Bowling Green, Ohio. I am certified to teach All-Level Art (Grades Pre-K-Grade 12) and Elementary Education (Grades 1-8). I have a Learning Resources Endorsement (Grades Pre-K-12)and also have earned a Certificate of Technology from Southern Methodist University.
