  • Earth Day

Posted by Rhonda Bernard at 4/17/2012

Norton will be celebrating Earth day on Monday, April 23. Help the Earth by bringing a waste free lunch, ride a bike, walk ,or ride a scooter to school. Is it too far to walk?? Then ride the bus instead of a car! If you do this then you get a green stamp from the green team . If you bring a waste-free lunch, our green team will be looking for you in the cafeteria. You will get to put your name on a ticket and we will have a raffle to win cool prizes.

We can recycle juice pouches in the cafeteria's  red bin. Make sure the juice pouch is empty with no straw. No food or other items in the red bin. The green team counts and sends these to Terracycle where they are made into school supplies.

  • Do you want to be a member of the Green Team?

Posted by Rhonda Bernard at 8/25/2011
Many Norton students want to know how to become a member of the GREEN TEAM.  Here are the requirements.  You must be a fourth grader with good grades and good work habits. You need to show that you have great behavior and good work habits -- RESPONSIBILITY!! The fourth grade teachers decide which students are in various CASTLE groups.  If you don't make it in during the first rotation, don't give up, you have more chances during the school year!
