Looking To The Future
 

Early fall is the best time to complete your college applications.

 

Seniors are allowed two excused absences for college visits. It is best to visit a college when its students are in session.

 

The timeline for submitting your FAFSA (Federal And Free Student Assistance) or financial aid form is January 1 - February 15. You will need your current tax return before applying. This form is used by colleges and universities to determine financial aid.

The State of Texas will be transitioning away from the TAKS exam over the next 2 years.  In place of TAKS, the State will use End of Course exams that will test students in specific content areas at the end of the  course rather than the end of their high school career.
