Cougars READ Book Club
About the Club: The Cougars READ Book Club is open to all students and teachers at Curtis! We meet during all three lunches to talk about the books we are reading. Group members will also have the opportunity to read Advanced Reader Copies (ARCs) of yet-to-be-released books, and help Mrs. Hawkins in decisions about books to buy for our library!
Something new this year! We plan to attend the Young Adult Keller book festival (YAK Fest) on January 25th at Keller's Central High School. The event is free, but we will need parent volunteers to drive! So ask/beg/cajole your parents now! Learn more about the festival by clicking here! You can like them on Facebook to get updates on the authors that will be attending!
Sign up with Mrs. Hawkins to get a pass to come the library and chat while we eat! Listen to the announcements for reminders about the meetings. A tentative schedule is below.
