| The purpose of the Anderson Robotics Club is to support teams who wish to compete in the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) competition. FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a world-wide organization that uses robotics-based programs to inspire an appreciation of science and technology in young people. FIRST LEGO League (FLL) lets kids age 9 through 14 compete using science, technology, teamwork, and their creativity. The competitions involve the creation and programming of robots made from LEGO Mindstorms. The name of the club's very first team is the "Technology Tigers".
