Lowery Freshman Center Clubs and Organizations
Welcome to the Lowery Freshman Center Clubs page.  Joining a club is a great way for students to be involved with their school.  Clubs allow students to work together with other students, teachers, and organizations. Below is a list of available clubs and organizations that 9th grade students can join and get involved with.  Sponsors can be contacted by email for more information.
 
 
Clubs, Teams, and Organizations at Lowery
Allen High School Speech and Debate TeamSponsor:  Kathryn Sawyer
Meetings: Meets at Lowery after school, contact sponsor for exact dates and times.
Both Lowery and AHS students are welcomed to join this club.
Allen Shooting Team
Sponsor: Jason Anderson
Meetings:  Check club website for upcoming meetings. 
Archery Club
Sponsors: Jason Anderson, Dennis Bruton
Meetings in Lowery KHall:  Monday & Wednesday 3:30p-4:45p, Tuesday & Thursday 7:00a-8:05a 
D.O.L.L.S

Meetings:  Every Thursday afternoon at 3:35 in B129
Explorers
Sponsor:  Sgt. Felty at the Allen Police Department
Meetings:  Mondays, 6pm, at The Villages of Allen, Allen Police Substation, Suite #1314 
Allen Police Department Explorers.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)
Meetings:  Meets every Wednesday from 7 - 8 am in the Lowery Auditorium.

Future Farmers of America (FFA)

Guitar Club

Media Moguls Library Club

This club focuses on book studies, multimedia projects, computer skills.
National Junior Honors Society (NJHS)

PALsSponsor: Jon Cockroft 
The Peer Assistance and Leadership (PAL) class trains students in the skills they need to help other students, both at the Lowery Freshman Center and the Elementary schools, with academic and/or personal challenges.  PAL is a service-oriented organization focused on both school and community.
