Funding Scholarships for Allen High School Seniors
Each January, the senior class at Allen High School is invited to apply for a variety of locally funded scholarships, organized onto one application by the Foundation. The goal of the Community Scholarship Application is to streamline the process for students, encourage more students to apply, and provide quality applicants to the local funding organizations and businesses.

For the past 10 years, the Foundation has been awarding scholarships to students through the generosity of our donors. We are excited to announce that, including the Class of 2012, the Foundation has awarded a total of $254,704 dollars in student scholarships!

Scholarships are made possible by donations from community members, current and former Allen ISD families, alumni, civic groups, retired teachers and area businesses. Scholarships typically range between $500 and $5,000.

Types of Scholarships
The Foundation offers a variety of scholarships ranging from those funded on an annual basis to endowed scholarships in which the principal gift is invested with the earnings awarded. Scholarship awards are sent directly to colleges, universities or trade schools and the students may use the funds for tuition, room and board, fees and books.
