|  The Vaughan Library Media Center is open from 7:45 (check-in only) until 3:15. Students come as individuals, in small groups, and with classes for instruction and for borrowing materials. Our "open access" LMC allows students and teachers to use the library at point of need.
K-4 books are checked out for one week.
5th and 6th graders have their books for two weeks.
Magazines and Reference books are overnight checkout.
A late fee is charged for overdue items after a two day grace period. Fines are five cents a day for each item. There is no charge over weekends or school holidays. Students may not check out books until late books are returned and outstanding fines are paid.
One book limit for kindergarten
Two book limit for grades 1-3
Three book limit for grades 4-6
Exceptions are made for required reports or for voracious readers!
We ask that lost materials be paid for. If a lost and paid for book is returned to the LMC, the monetary amount will be gladly refunded.
