Hello! My name is Judy McMahan and I am very excited to be the Library Media Specialist at Anderson Elementary. Prior to becoming a librarian, I was a classroom teacher for 23 years. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from SOSU in Durant, Oklahoma; my Masters Degree in Reading from East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas and my Library Media Certification from the University of North Texas. My first years as a teacher were spent in Special Education and Remedial Reading. In addition, for 14 years I taught 3rd grade and 5th grade with a love of reading and science.
