Our Class Pledge

We begin each year creating and learning a class pledge. We recite our class pledge each morning. The purpose is to help us to focus on the task at hand, to prepare to give our best and to celebrate one another's successes. Below is our class pledge from last year. We, Mrs. Powell's class, pledge to take responsibility for our learning. We will be organized and prepared to complete all assignments. We will do our homework and bring it back on time. We promise to do our best work, each and every day and strive to be authentically engaged in learning. We will be good citizens, in our class, our school, and our community. We will treat each other with respect and dignity; remembering to treat others, the way we wish to be treated. We will celebrate our successes, learn from our mistakes and enjoy learning.
