WELCOME
Hi, my name is Maggie Esposito and this is my fifth year at Norton as a Kindergarten teacher. I love this school and I am very proud to be teaching here. GO KNIGHTS!!!!

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
...BS in Education from the State University of New York at Geneseo, Geneseo, NY
...MS in Early Childhood Education from the College of New Rochelle, New Rochelle, NY
...13 years teaching experience in The Bronx, New York
...5 years teaching in Allen, TX at Children's Creative Playday at the First United Methodist Church

FUN FACTS
I have been married to my husband, Andy, for 19 years.
My son, Daniel is an 10th grader at Allen High School. GO EAGLES!!!
My daughter, Katie, is a 8th grader at Ereckson Middle School. GO HUSKIES!!!
My dog's name is Bailey (She is a German Short-Haired Pointer).
I was born and lived in New York until December,1996. We transferred to Allen with my husband's job at JC Penney.
My hobbies include reading, shopping, swimming, walking, spending time with my family, going to the movies, and teaching Kindergarten!

MY CLASSROOM PHILOSOPHY
It is my goal to create a classroom environment in which each child is respected as an individual, and provided with developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Individual learning styles will be nurtured as well as individual learning rates. I hope to give each child a solid foundation on which future learning can stand. Most of all, I want your child to believe LEARNING IS FUN and that SCHOOL IS A GREAT PLACE TO BE! I look forward to a wonderful year with you and your child and hope to create life long memories of Kindergarten.
