I grew up in San Antonio and attended college in California where I received my bachelor's degree from CSULB and my teaching certification from CSUDH. I taught kindergarten and first grade in Long Beach, California before moving to New York. While in New York, I taught kindergarten, first grade and fourth grade. In 2000, I received my master's degree in Instructional Technology from Western Connecticut State University . I then went on to do teacher training in the area of Instructional Technology for three years before my husband's job transferred us to Texas.
My husband, Mike, is a native New Yorker. I am thrilled to be back in Texas! I am mom to Charlotte and Colin. Charlotte is in Kindergarten at Green this year. Colin is 4. We also have two cats, Max and Monkey.
This is my third year at Green and I am so lucky to be working at the best school in Allen!
