All About Me!
My birthday is on February 1st and I was born in Lufkin, Texas. When I was about 2 years old, my parents moved to Garland, Texas, which is a suburb of Dallas. I spent all of my school days in Garland, and graduated from South Garland High School (Go Colonels!). I went to Baylor University. Sic 'em, Bears! I graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Reading. I now reside in Dallas, but the 25 mile drive is worth it when you get to be around our amazing Story family! I am now working on my Master's Degree in Library and Informational Sciences from Texas Woman's University. I'm very excited!

When I'm not teaching, I help sponsor Story Student Council with Ms. Nichols, and I help Mrs. Gibson and Mrs. Plinck with the Early Bird Honor Choir. I'm a busy gal at Story!

My hobbies are singing (yes, I'm a singer), dancing (I took lessons and taught dance classes for many years), reading kids' books, hanging out with friends, and playing with my 2 Beagles named Dixie and Cole. I also have a pet tortoise named Zippy.
