| 2008 - 2009 THEME will be "WOW!"
Designed to enhance rather than replace a quality arts education, the Reflections Program provides opportunities for students to express themselves and to receive positive recognition for their artistic efforts. 2007 - 2008 Theme Announced: "I Can Make A Difference By..." rules:
In VISUAL ARTS, the piece may not exceed 24X30 inches (including the mat. It cannot be more than 3/8inch thick. Your entry can be a drawing, painting, collage, photo collage, original print, etching, punch work, fiber work, or computer-generated work. It will be judged primarily on how well the student uses his or her artistic vision to portray the THEME!
Do not laminate the work.
Submit all work on a mat or heavy cardboard.
Make sure there is an official entry form on the back.
In LITERATURE, the work can be fiction or non-fiction. Prose, poetry, and drama are accepted. Entries can be hand-written or typed. Submission should be on 8 1/2 X 11 paper and placed in a manila folder.
