Karin Tambert

WELCOME My name is Karin Tambert. This is my first year as a full time teacher at Norton Elementary. I am so excited to be here! ABOUT ME I grew up in Florida and graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BS in Elementary Education. I taught kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade for my first six years in Florida. Along came my kids and I was lucky to be able to stay home with them for a while. After moving to Texas, I taught half day kindergarten in a private school for a couple years. My husband's name is Dan and he is an engineering manager for L-3 Communications. We have three kids- Alex, Laura, and Jack. Alex goes to Ereckson Middle School and is in 8th grade. Laura goes to Norton and is in 5th grade. Jack is also at Norton in 1st grade. We have three cats. Two little ones, and one big, fat one. I love to tell stories about my cats!
