This year Leah will be in Fifth grade, Claire in Fourth grade, and Anna in Kindergarten. With three young girls our lives are very busy and hectic, however this year we are cutting back on the crazy after school activity schedule and sticking to soccer and piano. In the fall I plan on taking tap classes...ask me how my progress is going!!! My poor husband, he is the only male in the house, even our cat is female. With three girls, of course there will be three weddings so we have started a wedding fund for all of them!!
Mike is a hometown boy! He graduated from Allen High School and graduated from Texas A& who!!
I grew up in Alief, Texas south of Houston and am a proud Texas Tech University grad. GO RED RAIDERS!!! I have a BS in Elememtary Education and recently completed working on my masters in Educational Administration from UNT.
I enjoy taking trips. During Fall Break 2004 our family of nine (Mike, myself, the girls, Mimi, Grandad, and Grammy)headed for to Hawaii for a family vacation. Can you say ALOAH!! My trips have taken me to all of the southern states(I love CALI the best) and other states in the US. I had an awesome opportunity to have traveled to New Zealand and Australia. Someday I hope to explore Finland,Ireland (I am part Finish with a combo of Native American and Irish), Italy, Germany, France and Fiji!
In my spare time, I love to garden and make quilts. I make about one to two quilts a year for family and friends.
