Welcome to Bolin's AIM website.
This year in AIM, 1st and 2nd graders will be studying Ancient China. They come on Tuesdays.
3rd graders will begin with Ancient Greece, and will progress to the Middle Ages and Renaissance in the spring. They meet on Monday afternoon.
In 4th grade, we will be working on the Texas Performance Standards Project, TPSP, about enigmas. The students will be working on individual research projects. Presentations will be submitted on video to a state assessment panel for judging. Our underlying study will be the American Revolution. 4th graders come on Wednesdays.
Our theme for 5th grade is the Civil War. We meet on Thursdays.
On Fridays, 6th grade will be learning about the 1920s in America.
All AIM students will be working on critical and creative thinking and will be expected to submit projects of excellence.
