Course Description--Reading 7

Reading 7 is designed to strengthen reading comprehension and skills, master TEKS objectives, and develop reading strategies. Reading fiction and non-fiction are taught with the goals of learning to read for both pleasure and academic situations. Regular classroom work, projects, and short tests are used to assess progress on an on-going basis. Book conference reports provide a variety of opportunities for improving reading skills.
