Students in grades fourth through sixth come individually or in small groups. Teachers sign their classes as whole groups when there is an extended lesson from their classroom curriculum. This flexible, open schedule allows teachers and students to use the library resource center at their time of need. All books will be checked out for 2 weeks. Kindergarten students may check out 1 book. First graders may check out 1 book. Second, third, and fourth graders may check out 2 books. Fifth and sixth graders may check out 2 books. There will be a 2-day grace period before a fine is accessed. Late notices will be sent home. If a child's fine reaches 25 cents, a book will NOT be checked out to him/her until the fine is paid. Fines will not be charged for weekends and holidays. Kindergarten will not be charged fines. Fines will not exceed the price of the book.
