Langlais's Learning Page

Welcome to Mrs. Langlais's Home Page.
I am a true Allen hometown girl who moved here when I was three. I attended Kindergarten through 12th grade and graduated #6 in my class at Allen High School. I have seen Allen go through many changes in my 30+ years here. In fact, Story Elementary opened my senior year at AHS.

This year will be number 15 at Story Elementary, and I am currently the sixth grade science teacher. This will be my seventh year to teach sixth grade. I taught fourth grade for five years and fifth grade for three years. I graduated in May 1993 with a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Elementary Education) from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. I completed my Master's Degree in December 1999 in Elementary Education from Texas A&M University in Commerce, Texas.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family (husband, 6 year old, and 2 dogs). I also enjoy working on my scrapbooks, cross-stitching, rubber stamping, and watching and going to Dallas Stars hockey games. I spend a lot of time at the ice rink with my own little "Wayne Gretsky" and his hockey games.

I hope this page will be beneficial to my students by offering some great web sites to visit. For parents, this will offer a weekly update on our sixth grade science activities and dates to remember.

Feel free to e-mail me.
