| I have been married to my wonderful husband, Sergio, for 15 years. We met in 1989 at the University of Texas at Austin at the end of our Freshman year and we have been together ever since. We married in 1993 and we have three beautiful daughters, Zoe, Isabella and Savana. Zoe is in middle school and Bella and Savana go to Green. We have lived in Allen for seven years and we love it.
This will be my tenth year teaching. At UT, I majored in Bilingual Education and I minored in Spanish. My first 7 years of teaching were in a Bilingual classroom. When we moved to Allen, I became the second Bilingual teacher in our district. The next year, Marion Elementary opened and I took my first all-English teaching position. After that year, I stayed home for 2 years before taking a postion here at Green as and aide in the Gifted and Talented class. I loved my experience so much that I was thrilled when a Kindergarten position was available. I am so excited to be a teacher at Green Elementary. It really is a great place to be. |
