The Scholar Shop is a new way this year to help students be successful at school.  It's a friendly place where students can have a snack and do their homework.  Students do their math, science, English, reading and history assignments.  They work on projects of all kinds.  Students have access to computers for research and writing.

Scholar Shop is staffed by teachers.  Mrs. DeMarais is on hand all the time.   Teachers from other disciplines drop by on a regular schedule to make sure everyone's questions are answered and to give individual tutorial if that is needed.   Students work in groups and by themselves.  Scholar Shop meets in the "Fish Bowl" where students can study on a sofa, at a table, or at a computer.   Snacks are provided.

Scholar Shop meets from 3:35 - 4:30 pm every day.  Students can ride the Homework Club bus if they need a ride home.

At Ford, success is our business.  We are determined to provide students with as many opportunities as we can to make that happen.  Scholar Shop is just one of them.
