Welcome to my class. I’m excited about the new things we’ll be learning together this year. Our main job is to make sure that we learn as many new things as possible. I believe that my students and I are unique individuals. We each have peculiar needs and important contributions to make. We are also a team. By working together the outcome is better than if we worked by ourselves. Every day I will be careful to provide the experiences, guidance, and examples that will encourage you to learn skills, both tangible and intangible, that you need to be successful in real life.

I’ll depend on you not to be disappointed with me when I don’t know all the answers. I promise you to work as hard as I can along side of you to help all of us learn. You can count on my very best work at all times, because you are extremely important to me. I expect hard work and cooperation from you in return.

This handbook will tell you what to expect and how to be successful. Read it carefully, and do what it says. It’s going to be a great year!!!
