Here are some things you’ll need to know about the Multimedia Lab

Printers
HP Color LaserJet 4500 (This is the large color printer by the table. It’s networked.)
HP 5M (This is the default black& white printer & is on table as well.)

Scanner
HP Scanner (It is on the desk in the corner, connected locally to the adjacent computer)

CD & DVD Burners
HP (These burners are connected locally to the teacher's desktop)

Poster Maker
This machine is new.  It will print from a hard copy or a computer file.  It only prints in two colors (one of which is white), so simple black-line masters with no shading work best.

Digital Cameras
Cannon PowerShot (We have 3 of these new 5 mega-pixel cameras.  They use memory cards)
Sony Mavica (We have 4 available. They both record on floppies. Two have memory sticks in addition)
Cannon Digital Rebel (records high resolution pictures on a memory stick)

Software
Office 2002
Flash XP (multimedia & webpage production)
Adobe PhotoShop 7 & CS (creating & editing raster graphics)
InDesign 2.0 & CS (yearbook software)
Illustrator 10 & CS(vector images)
Front Page (webpage production)
Windows XP (our operating system)
