About Me

After growing up in Plano, I graduated from Plano Senior High School, went on to get a BA from the University of North Texas and I received my secondary teacher’s certification in history and psychology at Texas A&M University in College Station.

I began my teaching career in Humble, Texas (near Houston) and spent 9 years there teaching all grade levels of middle school social studies. In 2004, I moved back to the Metroplex and was fortunate enough to land a job at Ford Middle School! This is my 4th year here at fabulous Ford and the kids here are the BEST. I have been teaching Texas History for 10 of my 13 years and it is by far my favorite subject to teach!

I am newly married to Ford Middle School U. S. History teacher and coach, Bob Campbell. I also became a new mommy to 6 year-old, Robbie, who is in 1st grade at Reed Elementary and the newest addition to our family, Clara who was born on October 4, 2007.

I enjoy going to the movies, hanging out with my family, shopping, and sleeping these days!
