District Spelling Bee

The District Spelling Bee was held on April 1, 2008 (no joke).  In keeping with the 70s TV theme, the crew from Ford adopted a Fantasy Island look, complete with "De Plane".  The team spellers were Valerie Curry, Shannon Watson, and Leslie Wilbanks.  Sue Parris participated as the phoned friend.  Our spellers outlasted Curtis, Ereckson, and Lowery.  We lost out on the word, "cassiopiea".
