Until Next YearThis has been a great
year at Ford. We've already begun to make plans for next year, which will be our 25th
anniversary. Our new theme will be
"25 Years and Still Growing Strong". The first day of school will be Monday,
August 25. All of us here at Ford wish you and your family a restful
summer. Have fun and be safe.
Let the Celebration Begin
To get ready for our 25th Anniversary Celebration the PTA announces Ford
Family Clean Up Day on Saturday, June 21 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. All
Ford families, past and present are invited. Learn more.
Registration for New Students

Moving This Summer?
If you are planning a move this summer that will take your children away
from Ford or Lowery where they are registered for next year, please contact the
Counselor's Office in the school where they would have gone. Our Registrar, Hope Bergin,
here at Ford can be reached by phoning 972-727-0590 or emailing Hope_Bergin@allenisd.org.
The phone number for Lowery is 972-396-6975.
Expectation Nights
The first dates to add to your calendar for next fall are our annual
Expectation Nights. That's when parents and students come to school for an evening
to pick up schedules, meet teachers, explore the building, find lockers, and buy or
pick up supplies. The date for the 8th grade Expectation Night is Tuesday,
August 19. Seventh graders will come on Thursday, August 21.
The times on both evenings is from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. See the supply list.
How We Help Students Succeed
We encourage you to explore the "Helping Students" section of this homepage to
learn about the different opportunities we provide to ensure student success. The
link at the far left of the top menu bar that says "Helping Students" will take
you to a list of links to programs and opportunities to help students excel. The
same links appear at the top of the right hand menu on this page. Our goal is for
every student to experience success at Ford.
No Bullying Zone
Faculty, administration, and students at Ford are serious
about stopping bullying. Students are encouraged to report incidents to teachers and
administrators. FordNoBully@allenisd.org
is an email address which has been established so that reports can be made more
anonymously. Read more
about it.
AISD and Campus Honorees

Parent Connect
Next year parents will again have an on-line connection to
information about their children's academic progress through Parent Connect. You'll
be able to see your child's grades now and an email can be sent if your child receives a
failing grade on daily work or a project. The instructions about how to use this
resource can be found on the AISD website at the top of the login page. Go there now.
