Looking for Baby Pictures of 8th Graders

We're looking for baby pictures of this year's 8th graders to be included in a slide show to be presented at the 8th Grade Celebration on June 2.  If you have a picture of one of our students as a baby or toddler (or just younger than they are now), please put the name on the back, put it in an envelope and send it to the office or to Mrs. Higgs in L103.  We'll send the pictures back home with the students when we've scanned them.  You can email pictures to Mary_Higgs@allenisd.org too.  We need them by Tuesday, May 13.

Charging Lunches Over for this Year

Beginning Wednesday, May 21, charging lunch WILL NOT be allowed. Students with insufficient funds in their lunch account will be offered an Alternate Meal consisting of 3 side dishes & a milk. How We Help Students Succeed

We've reorganized our website so that parents and students can more easily find the different opportunities we provide to encourage student success.  The link at the top left of the top menu bar that says "Helping Students" will take you to a list of links to programs and opportunities to help students to excel.  The same links appear at the top of the right hand menu on this page.  Explore for yourself or go right there now.

No Bullying Zone

Faculty, administration, and students at Ford are serious about stopping bullying.  Students are encouraged to report incidents to teachers and administrators.  FordNoBully@allenisd.org is an email address which has been established so that reports can be made more anonymously. Read more about it.

Parent Connect

Parents now have an on-line connection to information about their children's academic progress through Parent Connect.  You'll be able to see your child's grades now and an email can be sent if your child receives a failing grade on daily work or a project.  The instructions about how to use this resource can be found on the AISD website at the top of the login page.  Go there now.
