Allen ISD Presents
Reader's Theatre

Welcome to our Reader's Theatre Productions.  Students from Story, Boyd and Rountree Elementary will be presenting, weekly, their rehearsed scripts.  Students and parents are welcome to join us each week for another presentation and even subscribe to our RSS feed.

Allen ISD's Reader's Theatre RSS feed is:  http://www.allenisd.org/podcast/ReadersTheatre/feed.xml

What is the focus of the grant provided by the Allen Foundation to Sheri Vasinda, a teacher at Story Elementary?
Readers Theatre is a fluency-building activity encouraged through the use of repeated reading practice which in turn improves student's confidence in, and enthusiasm for reading.  The podcast presentations are the student products resulting from participation in Reader's Theatre.

How do I listen to a podcast?
There are  a couple of ways to listen to a podcast. You can listen to one podcast at a time by using our playlist above, or you can "subscribe" to the podcast and receive our new podcasts each week that they are automatically downloaded to your computer/IPod.

Do I have to have an IPod?

No, you don't have to have an IPod to listen. You can listen on any computer that has internet access.  If you have an IPod or MP3 player, you can also download podcasts to it and listen on the go.

Thanks to Darren Wilson of Irving ISD for his expertise in helping us to develop this podcast.
