In order to move toward the
primary objective of reading proficiency for all
students, a strategic planning team will meet.
The team will integrate state and classroom
goals, develop and publish curriculum strategies,
assess training materials, establish timelines and
publish reports of program progress.
Using data collected at the campus level, the
panel will determine student success and program
effectiveness and revise district plans.
Representatives
meet each semester to make decisions in the areas
of:
The District Reading panel will
meet via video conferencing four times each year for
the duration of the program. Panel members will include curriculum administrators, campus
teachers and administrators, technology
representatives, university professors, Region
Center consultants, and parent and community
members.
